Pinina Podestà was born in Italy, where she presently lives in the city of Augusta. She started her artistic activity with oil painting as an autodidact. In 2001, attracted by the potentiality of computer graphics and the internet, she approached digital art. In spite of such investigations and experimentation with new artistic forms, she continues to make canvases. Still, she tends to use the digital experimentation as sources of inspiration and she participates in international digital collaborations.

Pinina has had her work displayed in national and international exhibitions of paintings. She works with pencil drawings, painting, digital, traditional and even video collage.
