Nathan Combs is a photographer, which he feels is  an elevated way of saying unemployed. Since he was young, he has struggled against a learning disability, which makes communication difficult.  He has found it easier to communicate through with photos. Being an avid story teller, Nathan feels he can communicate a story more effectively with a camera than with a pen. 

Nathan's passion lies in photo journalism, although the bulk of his photography revolves around portraits. Really, he's a redneck with a camera! One would think he'd take more nature shots of deer and mountains, but the scope he uses on them is completely different than with his camera...he captures deer, don’t get him wrong, just not on film. Mostly with his freezer. 

Nathan graduated from The Hallmark Institute of Photography and a second technical school for digital retouching and restoration. Since graduation, he has studied on his own. Some of his favorite photographers include Man Ray, Robert Maplethorpe, and Robert Cappa. He is hoping to be one of the only famous photographers worldwide with a normal name. 

Lately Nathan photographs models. Most are found at his favorite coffee shop. He says he may not be classy but he is friendly. It must be the bibs. He says that honestly, he has a decent reputation for skillful photography and also for not killing his models.  It’s amazing how well both of those things works in his favor.
