ART BY DAN KEOHANE
Dan Keohane started dabbling in paints (first with oils but more recently acrylic) thirty years ago when he needed to make something for his sister Anne for Christmas. Since then, the right side of his brain has struggled under a civil war between the need to write and paint. The latter has been winning lately, but he still writes, promise! Both are done in short bursts between life moments with his six children, two grandchildren and various neurosis. Writing as Daniel G. Keohane and sometimes G. Daniel Gunn, he is the Bram Stoker-nominated author of Plague of Locusts, Margaret’s Ark, Solomon’s Grave, Stories from the Psalms Volume 1 and Plague of Darkness. Short fiction has appeared in Abyss & Apex, On Spec, Cemetery Dance Magazine, Borderlands 6, Fantastic Stories of the Imagination, Apex, and dozens more. Dan’s a founding member of the New England Horror Writers and sometimes co-edits their "Wicked" series of anthologies. He is an occasional film reviewer, and generally tries to do too many things.
