ART BY SAMANTHA STAHLKE

Samantha Stahlke is an artist from Ontario, Canada. After studying game development and computer science in university, she pivoted to pursue her lifetime passion for the arts and started taking on commissions and freelance work during the pandemic. So far, she has worked on a number of personal and professional projects, mainly in the gaming space. Her specialties are character and food art, though she loves to illustrate a variety of subjects, both living and inanimate.
Her favourite things to paint include people, animals, surreal creatures, and fanart illustrations. She takes inspiration from both modern digital artists and classic impressionist and surrealist works. When she’s not drawing, you can most likely find Samantha cooking, listening to or making music, or playing video games.

Samantha is also an artist and administrator at Art WhileApart, a volunteer collective that aims to spread joy by illustrating pets and rescue animals.
