SO STRANGE

A wish is so strange.
Millions of echoes cry into a billion stars.
The surface is a liar.
Telling the difference is hard.
A smile can easily mask a completely shattered heart.
Don’t judge them.
Learn their stories before you throw a stone.
You have no idea what it takes to survive with little hope.
The walls bleed.
The shadows scream!
Imaginary things are hidden within the heat.
The flames give off an inextinguishable burning.
Revealing a past so brutal it’s unbelievable.
You haven’t experienced the pain so you don’t believe it.
You haven’t had your skin blister so you refuse to see it.
You haven’t felt a demon try its hardest to get in.
You haven’t fought the battles that always begin.
The battles never end either.
The pounding on the doors is so fucking clear.
You have never wished a million times to get out of here.

Stop judging by the surface.
It never meant shit.
It has a short-lived purpose…

A wish is so strange.
Millions of echoes cry into a billion stars.

MELODIES

There are melodies in the darkness.
You must listen closely to the tunes.
If it’s too hard to understand them…
That’s how they destroy you.

Blackened eyes hide within your thoughts.
Turning white when they strike.
Hollow memories continue to exhaust you.
Giving you everything you do not want.
Visions of loved ones dying too young.
Visions of the monster that you’ve become.
Visions of the entire world blowing up!
Visions so vivid they spew vomit from your lungs.
The mucus is thick like a strawberry shake.
The red-colored tint is the mixing of your blood.
It is so much more than you can take.
You never know if you’re asleep or awake.
Yet you always hear the lullabies of the snakes.

There are melodies in the darkness.
You must listen closely to the tunes.
If it’s too hard to understand them…
That’s how they destroy you.

I CAN’T SEE THE FUTURE

I can’t see the future but I know what it means.
I can’t seem to get rid of my lingering screams.
I can’t seem to shake this darkness within me.
It keeps bleeding out from each drop of ink.

The walls rapidly bleed another fake dream.
My eyes trick me.
The shadows consume me.
The fire burns me until I cease to breathe.
I can’t see the future.
All I can see is black.
What more can I offer?
No matter what I do the shadows attack.
I don’t think they are truthful when they ask for favors.
Every time that I fulfill their wishes they laugh.
The metal in my mouth is the only fucking flavor.
What can I do now?
How will I please the unpleasable?
I don’t think it is possible.
It just isn’t feasible.

I can’t see the future but I know what it means.
I can’t seem to get rid of my lingering screams.
I can’t seem to shake this darkness within me.
It keeps bleeding out from each drop of ink.
