CHAOS
Swallowed by the heated whirl wind
Ingesting more than I asked for
Crawling towards cement cemeteries
Broken, shattered and bruised
Two paths spread
One for you
And one for the dead
It’s all in your head.
DEATH’S FLOWER
Before the trees awake in the light
Something froze them in the night
The smell of wild flowers
Pure delight
When the sun went to night
The dark brought horrific fright
Before the trees awake the night
Let them breathe the light
The smell of dead flowers
Pure fright.
RITUAL SHAME
Our identities stolen
Spit upon and devoured
Caged and enraged
All we can do is ask why
Pain bone deep
Brittle, falling apart
Screams from all corners
With, and against us
Our bodies gashed
And gassed
Broken barbed wire burned
And in our haunted bodies memories
The reasons went unknown
A broken soul, all alone
Looking for somewhere to call home
Disgusted by his own shame
He took us
And abused us
Forced us into his own game
For nothing
But his personal gain.
THE EMPRESS
I keep my eyes from glowing
From them knowing
The droning of my witch drum
Intertwined with my own dark disguise
Welcome our emperor
Beneath grisly skies
Forever our lives produce dark flies
With broken wings
Powdered in black dust
With reason
Hated and hidden
Continue my disguise |
