Paula McDonald is predominantly a pencil artist who was born and still resides in Central Scotland. She has always been passionate about art and expressing herself though creative means.  On leaving university after studying Graphic Design, Paula’s career path took a different avenue and only recently has her passion for art began to dominate her life once more; alongside her family life and enjoying her two young children.

100% self-taught, she began to refine her drawing skills in order to create photo-realistic drawings. The aid of online communities and trial and error has, and still is, aiding her in achieving her growing goals. She is a lover of traditional art in all forms and finds inspiration in anything and everything surrounding her. 

Paula draws for personal pleasure and also accepts commissions for her graphite works. She is currently working in collaboration with her sister in writing and illustrating a children’s book.
