PHOTOGRAPHY BY ART BOUGHAN

Art Boughan has participated in many photography workshops, especially at the Santé Fe Workshops, his favorite. He attended an influential class at Moorpark College in Moorpark, California long ago. That was pre-digital and involved a lot of black-and-white darkroom work.  At that time, the college had an excellent photography program run by a passionate group of instructors. 

If you look at Art Boughan’s  photography, a consistent style doesn’t readily emerge. That is probably because his work is a response to his love of two things: travel and art. He loves nothing better than to see a new place and immerse himself in the artwork that is there

He is excited about the future of his work. He just retired from a 40-year career in engineering and now he’s free to dedicate more time to photography and artwork. So stay tuned!
