Kristina Gehrmann was born in 1989 and is currently studying classical-academic painting at the Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. Originally she is from a small town near Düsseldorf, Germany.

Kristina has always loved drawing and painting, and has been painting digitally for more than five years. She has never been interested in doing anything else with her life than creating pictures; and if she didn't make pictures, she would be making other stuff. Her hobbies (writing, cooking/baking, crafts) reflect this. As long as she can create something, she is happy!

Her preferred medium is her Wacom tablet with Photoshop. In art school, she is also learning how to use charcoal and oil paints, drawing and painting almost exclusively from life. After studying art (which she wants to do as much as possible), she plans to become a full time freelance illustrator. So far she is working part-time, for example, she is illustrating book covers for small German publishers; doing card illustrations for Fantasy Flight Games; and other creative venues.
