After working in the movie industry, TV commercial and animation fields for years, Charles moved to Toronto and continued his education specifically in 3D animation.

Charles’s artwork focuses on the beauty of life, yet he interprets it by his own view. One of his hobbies is loitering around photographer’s forums and seeking inspiration.  Usually, he gets ideas by playing with several photos, and then rearranges them into a new theme.  He always evens up different lighting and colors of the references; sometimes he refers to a black and white photo, which makes it more difficult because he has to image and rebuild the color.
