Peter Coleborn runs The Alchemy Press, an award-winning small press in the UK, publishing a range of horror (and related) titles including Where the Bodies are Buried by Kim Newman, Nick Nightmare Investigates by Adrian Cole, and Monsters by Paul Kane, as well as a number of anthologies (eg, Astrologica, Kneeling in the Silver Light). He has also edited/produced several titles for the British Fantasy Society (Dark Horizons and Chills among others), chaired the society and has run the annual convention FantasyCon over the years. He is on the editorial board of Penkhull Press, a new set-up that publishes a wider range to books, and every Wednesday he chairs a local writers’ group for aspiring authors (Renegade Writers). They meet in a pub, which is always a plus. He is a keen photographer, including many author photos taken at SF and fantasy conventions; and he likes to dabble with Photoshop to produced “zapped” images. Peter lives in north Staffordshire, UK, with his wife, the writer Jan Edwards. Plus the three ubiquitous cats.
